This fern dish makes a great accent piece. Each dish varies slightly because of the designs being hand stamped and drawn into the clay. This dish is made with a white highfire stoneware clay and is handpainted with a selection of five different glazes to achieve the beautiful colors. I draw my inspiration from the delicate ferns that love growing in the cool damp spots in the forest. I love spotting them when I am hiking a nature trail. They are especially delightful when they are young and still have that iconic spiral top that hasn't wuite finished unfurling. This dish measures 4" wide x 7" long and is the perfect size for those large slices of handmade soaps. These would make a great gift for a gardener or nature lover.
