This fern soap dish makes a great accent piece. Each dish varies slightly because of the designs being hand stamped and drawn into the clay. This dish is made with a white highfire stoneware clay and is handpainted with a selection of five different glazes to achieve the beautiful colors. I draw my inspiration from the delicate ferns that love growing in the cool damp spots in the forest. I love spotting them when I am hiking a nature trail. They are especially delightful when they are young and still have that iconic spiral top that hasn't wuite finished unfurling. This dish measures 4" wide x 6" long and is the perfect size for those large slices of handmade soaps. These would make a great gift for a gardener or nature lover. This is such a gorgeous, well-made piece. The soap dish arrived with more of a teal tint than dark green-I messaged the seller and she was so amazing with explaining how the glazes work and made me a new piece closer to the green I was looking for at no additional charge. Amazing customer service❤️

I liked the item, it is well made, but the color is too light and does not highlight the fern design to its best advantage. A darker forest green would have made the design pop and suited my needs better
