This listing is for the six ceramic quilt square buttons highlighted in the main photo. These unique buttons measure 1" in length x 1" wide and make a great accent on a button up cowl or knit sweater. These have an intricate Starburst texture that is highlighted beautifully by the icy aqua blue green glaze. I have also had customers use them as journal clasps or in jewelry applications.

Each button that I make is formed by hand, pinched, pressed, squeezed, stamped, and carved. I carve most of my own clay texture stampers so they are all unique. I take great care in rounding edges and button holes. I am a fiber artist myself and understand the importance of this so yarns and fabrics don't get snagged. They have all been fired twice. Hand washing is highly recommended. I cannot guarantee against breakage with machine washing.
I enjoy making something with my hands that then continues it's life in the hands of another. I absolutely love it when artisans and crafters send me photos of what they make with my work when they make it their own. Even more exciting is when I catch someone wearing a button that I once made...completing the circle of creative expression.
