This listing is for the four ceramic mushroom buttons highlighted in the main photo. These unique buttons measure 1.25" wide x 1.5" long. They will make a great accent on a button up cowl or knit sweater. I have also had customers use them as journal clasps or in jewelry applications.

Each button that I make is formed by hand, pinched, pressed, squeezed, stamped, and carved. I carve most of my own clay texture stampers so they are all unique. I take great care in rounding edges and button holes. I am a fiber artist myself and understand the importance of this so yarns and fabrics don't get snagged. They have all been fired twice. Hand washing is highly recommended. I cannot guarantee against breakage with machine washing.
I enjoy making something with my hands that then continues it's life in the hands of another. I absolutely love it when artisans and crafters send me photos of what they make with my work when they make it their own. Even more exciting is when I catch someone wearing a button that I once made...completing the circle of creative expression.

I love these buttons! They are well crafted and beautiful! They have smooth edges, and were a perfect addition to a natural earthy tree skirt my daughter asked me to make for her. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she recieves her gift!

The buttons were a lot larger than expected. So we are not able to use them as anticipated. I honestly wouldn’t recommend for sweater projects. Maybe as fasteners for hand knit or crocheted bags. But unfortunately for my craft use they just won’t work. I also thought they would be a bit smoother. But that is not as important as the size.

I'm not one to do reviews, however, these mushroom buttons are so lovely I just had to leave one. Just look at how gorgeous they are! They're a little bigger than expecting for a project I am working on, but I'll just make bigger loopholes. The owner was kind enough to give me a little surprise, with the most adorable acorn buttons. I am obsessed! Def will be getting the leaf buttons that I have been eyeing.
