This small round sand dollar spoonrest dish is made from a white highfire stoneware clay. It measures 4" wide and is the perfect size for resting a large spoon on the stovetop yet small enough to put by the coffee maker for a smaller spoon or tea bag. The glazes are non-toxic, leadfree, and foodsafe. This dish is also microwave and dishwasher safe.

I like this spoon holder okay, it’s just that it’s not the cobalt blue shown in the photo, it’s quite a bit lighter. I have some cobalt blue pieces and I’ve been looking for a spoon dish to match. I had this piece on my favorites list for some time because it’s the only one I found here on Etsy in the dark blue color. So no match to my pieces which is disappointing. If it had been the color of the photo it would have been perfect.
